Louise, Thanks for the great blog site. It will be fun reading of the progress along the coast. What an adventure, a real Canadian adventure to be celebrated on Canada Day...not many can say they have had this kind of Canadian adventure.Will be praying for safety and blessing at seeing God's wonderful world.Jops I am one of the 144 =)

- Louise,Our cabin is on Nelson Island, which is just off the mainland from Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast. I am very impressed with your idea (and the energy investment)of posting "Jack's Excellent Adventure" as a blog. Just see your note about the harbour "police" in Prince Rupert. That chap, just loves turning on his lights. Most people do not pay much attention to him.
lutz - The B&B in Butedale looks like a real prize...hopefully you didn't pay too much =)

- From what I understand this is a foating camp ...with a cook, a bonus to Jack.....if you click on the satelite link of the location page you will see how remote it is. It is used for the folks who travel the coast either as a kayak tours or for deliveries etc. He will make some day trips from here and maybe head as far down as Rose Inlet. There is no cell/email coverage so we will rely on his SPOT locator. The plan is to be back in QCC Sunday or Monday.
Joanne - So far, the food and beer is the only thing that sounds good to me! (Actually the scenery is beautiful too!) Lynda

- Saturday we got 2 OK locations from Jack. The one posted here is the the floating camp he has made home base. He was also down to Rose Harbour; http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=52.15279,-131.11483&ll=
I am not sure if he got around to the west coast but I am just as happy for him to see it on a satellite picture. The satellite shot of Rose Harbour looks like alot of trees/water and no starbucks around....mocha withdrawl =)
